 | November’s Events Monday, 3rd: Wellness Seminar 10:30 AM Dr. Pat O’Brien will speak about the cold and flu season, and will provide residents with strategies to help avoid illness this year. Wednesday, 5th: Fall Fashion Show 2:00 PM Sally Ford Fashions will present a fashion show of holiday clothing. There will be $50 gift certificate door prizes for two lucky residents. Friday, 7th: Parker’s Place Luncheon 12:00 PM This week’s luncheon will be held at Parker’s Place on Canal Street. Parker’s Place offers a variety of southern cuisine including fried chicken, cornbread and grits. Monday, 10th: Anywhere Christian Choir 3:00 PM Anywhere’s Christian Choir will be holding their annual holiday concert in the common room at 3:00 pm. Come join us to sign holiday favorites. Wednesday, 12th: Adventure Asia 10:00 AM Mrs. Darling’s granddaughter will be presenting a slideshow of her travels through Asia. Special snacks will be provided by Ho-Lee-Chow. Friday, 14th: Craft Corner 10:00 AM Come learn how to make holiday wreathes with Mr. Bruce Warren. Mr. Warren is the proprietor of Flowers & Things and will be teaching residents how to make evergreen wreathes. | ||||||
